Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

This Week's Question: If you were only allowed one craft, which would you pick?

If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.

I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

Would a hot bath help perhaps?

Sending healing wishes your way for the stiffness and bruising - I hope you recover soon.

Originally, I intended to work on the remaining bunnies - I hoped to stitch their little faces. However, chores interfered, and I could only do two faces. Tomorrow will the last leg of the Easter baking take place, so I'll be pretty busy, but I hope to do at least one bunny face or two. We'll see.

Thank you. I do love baking, as you know, but this month proved a bit too stressful, with crafting deadlines and picowrimo in session and all that.

Well done on what you did get done and good luck with the baking and the rest of the bunnies.

Thanks, I hope to return to the bunnies on Saturday. I want to finish as many as I can, since I'll be handing out the Easter biscuits to the recipients on Tuesday; adding a bunny to each cookie tin would be nice.

Today was Stitch Club, and I got most of the second leg of my bunny boy knitted while there. Once home, I finished the leg and turned the heel. On the gusset now, but I got bored (my attention is only good for about 45 minutes these days, and that was about 45 minutes work).

I have done two rows of the Nordic Stripes blanket today. I'm hoping to do 4 rows a day the next two weeks. That will finish up the first colorwork section. After that section is some easy, plain single crochet rows in stripes, so I can work on that at next Stitch Club.

I've also got plans to make a lily for a Nerdopolis submission. Just one flower, not a full plant. I'd be working on that now except I misplaced my 1.75mm hook. I do have a 1.65mm hook I could use, but... being that it's slightly smaller, I had problems with losing the working loop off it while doing my taller stitches, PLUS the hook has a rough spot on it so the thread gets caught, annoyingly. So I will do some searching to find the 1.75mm hook. You'd think it'd turn up easily since I just cleaned my room last week, but so far it has remained lost.

I did find my good darning needle while looking for it, though. Huzzah!

I'm hoping I can keep today's momentum up. I have a LOT of projects to do, after all, and most have deadlines.

Well done on your progress - you do have a lot on, but hopefully things will keep progressing as planned.

Deadlines are stressful, but they keep us on our toes. :)

I was away for a few days on a trip so nothing got done until last night when I managed to do a little work on my tapestry.

In answer to your question, I suppose if I had to pick one craft it would probably be cross-stitch as the one I find I have the least problems with - sometimes my hands struggle with knitting/crochet, my shoulder struggles with the position of trying to balance something as large as the tapestry, I like things to be a reasonable success and my paint by numbers is still a bit hit and miss - they look great when they work well, but when they don't, I can't fix it.

I like things to be a reasonable success

Haha, don't we all know the feeling!
