Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

My thumb doesn't want to thumb, probably from spending an hour this afternoon flipping through cross stitch magazines, looking for a suitable design for my sister's card. Most of the ones I liked either weren't things she'd like or would take too long. I did find a cupcake design, but... I might go through my already stitched pieces and make a card from one of those to save time since I left it so late. Only recently realised it will be her 65th, seems like just the other day it was her 60th. Time goes by too fast these days.

Well, not really re-using, I've just got some stitched pieces I haven't used for anything yet, so hopefully I've got one that will work for a 65th birthday.

Sorry to hear that your thumb is still out of action. Recycling something you've already made sounds like a good idea since you're short on time. Only you will know, after all.

Yeah, my sister will never know it's not something I stitched especially for her *grins*

It's not really out of action, just sometimes when I've been doing something, it decides it's had enough and doesn't want to grip. I make it work most days, but I didn't have time for actual crafting yesterday anyway, not after going through all those magazines. And that was only a small percentage of all the magazines I own. It would take days to look through all of them.

I think the machine needs to go in for a service. It's now skipping stitches. Oh well, it's needed a service for about four years now... *winces*

Yeah, sounds like a service might be a good idea. Not that I know anything about sewing machines, they've never liked me, but something isn't right.

No square yesterday 😕 because I have an early train this morning and I wanted to get a minimum of sleep.
On the other hand, while I plan to work some on the train, I also took my crocheting stuff and will probably go some squares on the way back.

Crocheting on trains is handy and moves things along when you can't do much else. I do granny squares on my commute as well otherwise I'd never find the time.

I forgot to check in yesterday - yes, it's March 20 already - because it was such a hectic day. But I have finished three more bunnies, so I'm exactly at the half-way spot. *g*
