Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

My finger is healing, but not yet healed enough to risk knitting, so another craft-free day here. Ah well, fanfic calls...

I sat down and finally finished the doily! There were only 2 rounds remaining, but my hands hadn't been up to it. THEN I immediately blocked it.

I was busier today, so I only did one square.
I'm debating whether to do another one or to go to bed early - I have a two-hour drive tomorrow morning...

I finally cast on the baby blanket for my friend who is due next month 😅 It'll be late but hopefully it's the thought that counts.

I'm about 60% done with the first sleeve! In the ends I did magic loop instead of trying to find my DPNs. I don't like magic loop for socks, but seems to be working fine for the sleeves.

That's great progress! And if the loop method works well enough it'll probably be easier than trying to find the DPNs, which would no doubt be in the last place you looked.
