Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Woo, how's the weather? 70F/21C today and feels bizarre as a few days ago it was -12F.

Supposed to be 12 C here today, but it's been feeling much colder thanks to the wind. I wouldn't mind if it was warmer here.

I am slowly being brainwashed to wanting to learn how to knit armwarmers. lol. Yay for progress!

LOL! They're about the easiest thing to knit - No shaping, just cast on, rib until it's long enough, cast off, sew up the side leaving a thumb hole. Make another one to match.

catch up

Getting caught up documenting my craft progress. I didn't do it while I struggled with bronchitis. And then I struggled with catching up housework.

I made a mat for my kitchen wall, to keep the cast iron skillets from bumping.


Diving into my afghan long-term WIP, I have been finalizing the chart for the mosaic border. I am doing it in the round instead of in rows, so I needed a corner. Started crocheting.

Got a little more couching done. I am DEFINITELY going to run out of that colour and will need to order more online. I am a bit miffed about that.

The dark blue is the hood lining. I'm probably going to throw a pale blue dye over it all just to deepen the thread colour a blue up the grey.
