Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
This Week's Question: Looking back at last year, which of your completed projects (or WiPs) were you most pleased with?
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

I just finished the first in this year's monthly art book class series. This year, the focus is once a month (except May) we will make pages using different techniques and at the end of the year (November or December, I'm not sure why she isn't sure, when we have classes scheduled for both months) we will bind them all together in a book of our art pages. Each person will have their own book, not one book for the class. This month, we dyed different kinds of paper with bleeding tissue paper. The base papers we used were glossy photo paper, drawing paper, computer paper, and rice paper. I admit, I feel like my results are a bit boring, but who knows how I will chose to embellish them or use them in collage between now and book making day. (Yes, we were encouraged to do both.)
I haven't had time to do anything else today, but I checked out season 2 of Downton Abbey with the intentions of knitting while I watch. Will I be able to stop myself before I finish the season? Unlikely.
I also have one last layout to decorate in the bullet journal. This one is a rare 3 pages, but all it needs is the pre-printed dated banner on the pages covered. I am thinking about trying to find some appropriate small stickers for it though, as it is a checklist and it might be nice to put stickers over the ticky boxes instead of just coloring them in.

Hope you enjoy season two, and try not to overdo the knitting this time.
Good luck with finding suitable stickers for the journal!
(And now I'm the one who's falling asleep because it's past midnight!)

I did enjoy season 2. Season 3 is currently checked out though. And I did not overdo the knitting this time, lol. I only knitted through a couple episodes and with many breaks while I was doing it.
Thanks! Small stickers that are not smiley faces are kind of hard to find it seems.
(I hope you got some sleep!)

Smiley faces seem to be the norm, unfortunately.
I did, thanks. Not enough, because that never happens, but still...

Unfortunately. However, our Dollar Tree (everything is $1.25) usually has bags of small boxes of stickers to use as party favors for most holidays. They might be close to the right size.
Still.

Hopefully they will work for you!
