Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I knitted 10 rows last night, so all that's left to do on the back is 18 rows and the cast offs for the shoulders.


Nothing done so far today, had to take my car in for her MOT, so I drove down this morning, walked home in the pouring rain, then had to walk back through wind and rain to collect her mid-afternoon after she had some work done. Now I'm worn out, but hope to knit later this evening, if I can stay awake.

I think you'd be better off with a bit of rest. The sweater will wait.

It probably would, but there's a TV show I plan to watch so I might as well knit while it's on. My legs are what hurt, not my arms.

Temperatures are mild at present so it wasn't too bad aside from the rain on the way home, which required an umbrella, and the gusty wind on the way back to the garage, which thankfully was only just starting. It's WAY worse now. Plus it's only about a fifteen minute walk each way, thanks to physio getting my legs working better. Before it would have been closer to half an hour. Still tiring though, especially getting up at 7 while it was still dark instead of 8.30. At least this time I didn't leave my bag ay the garage and have to go back again, lol!

And I've managed 14 rows tonight!

Finally, some real progress!

Against (the lack of) expectations, I've actually completed the inside of the front cover for both baby books.

They can be viewed here, as the pictures are quite large and I don't want to clutter up the place here. I think they've turned out well enough.

That's great. That duck sticker really is eye catching on the blue card.

Yes, it was definitely needed to break up the uniformity of all that blue. It's handy to have a big stash of such small things... as long as I know what they are and where they are, which isn't always the case. *g*

Marked another small thing off the mending pile!

I finished round 10 on the doily a bit ago. I'm waiting for chili to cook. I'm not sure if I'll do more tonight.
