Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Still no crafting but hopefully sometime this week I'll get around to looking for a pattern to use with my light blue yarn. Just not in a crafty mood at present after the problems with my other knitting project.

We had our monstre flat cleaning. I am dead. All crafty efforts had been postponed - not that I'd have been in the mood. Tomorrow I'll try to make a few more "wheat sheaves" of felt for the songbook. *Try* being the key word here. *sigh*

Or not. We'll see. I've got choir practice in the afternoon and kitchen duty in the morning, so some really small stuff is all I might manage. But I won't put pressure on myself.

I am closing on being done with my poncho. I made a hat from scarp yarn as well.

Not much f a hat wearer but I think I'm, going to start wearing them. My granny always wore a hat in the winter.

It's been raining and snowing all day. Not really cold enough to accumulate, but everything is a little slippery.

I have packed up the holiday decorations and have got out yarn for another set of arm warmers. Sunday's going to be VERY cold (2F/-16C).

Yikes! That's cold! You don't need arm warmers, you need a fleece lined whole body warmer with a hood and earflaps.

Hi all, a very belated happy new year to everyone. I hope you are all keeping well and your 2024 goes splendidly.

I've not been around for a while but for the first time in far too long, I actually managed to do a little crafting today by working on the dolphin tapestry I was doing. I'm going to be doing my best to make a little progress at least a few times a week but we shall see how successful I am with that. I'm hoping to at the least begin to follow a few significant groups like this one again as not only have I not been crafting, I've not been 'interneting' much either. Still it's a new year and so onward with good intentions I shall go.

I decorated the next bullet journal layout. The layout is nearly identical to the monthly challenges pages, so I did the same thing, only with purple & green spirals, instead of orange & green.

I also knitted some more on the hat. And yes, I remembered to measure it. It was at 7 1/2 inches when I started and it's a little over 8 now. It needs to be 11.

I'd like to see what that journal looks like. I'm not familiar with bullet journals and have a hard time to imagine what they actually are.

I have not sat down and figured out the posting pictures issue yet, I'm afraid. Bullet journals are basically journals where you track things - moods, health symptoms, habits, money saved, books read, etc - and make lists, usually daily routines, long term to do lists, or goal planning. Some people do really elaborate layouts. I've decided to try to keep things more simple, as I just don't have the time to make the big fancy layouts. There are a lot of good examples on Pinterest and YouTube. Most of mine are lists or grids and I am decorating around them.
