Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I finished knitting the first purple arm warmer last night and started the second. Planning to do some more work on that in a bit while watching TV.

Thank you! I need to keep my hands busy while watching exciting TV, and arm warmers are ideal for that because they're simple and I don't have to watch what I'm doing all the time.

Already halfway! I like having projects like that too.

And after I talked up about how easy it was, I screwed up and did half a row fine and the other half knitting the purl stitches and purling thee knit stitches, then didn't notice until 3 rows later and had to undo it! *headdesk* I did manage 58 rows in the end though.

I took a break from the Christmas quiet book and returned to the 2nd edition of Songbook #2, which was supposed to be a Christmas present for a friend... but many other projects interfered. Fortunately, she is a patient soul. In any case, I sewed together the front cover and the first page and started on the small additions to the second page. Not much achieved, but I'm so weary after all that Christmas baking and the fair projects that I'm allowing myself to do just as much as I still enjoy. Next Christmas is far away, after all. *g*

Excellent progress. It's nice when we can take our time with things and not have to hurry too much.

Very true. I'm taking it easy at the moment. Two (paper) baby books are looming on the horizon already, so I will be busy again in the new year.

I have to. I find that I tire a lot more easily as I used to. Advanced age can do that to an old hag.

I didn't get to work on any of my own projects, as husband hit a pothole bad enough it ripped his tire! So running around for that plus chores, and now I feel like I'm out of time for the day. I may sit with a book and chill.

Yesterday I did some garden planning and bought some seeds. :D

Gah, potholes are evil menaces! (Did you ever read the Torchwood fic Unforeseen Risk Elements? Jack's theories on potholes...)

Relaxing with a book sounds an excellent idea.
