Today's optional question:
Did you ever make something fandom inspired? Whatever it was recreating a garment from a movie, or simply crafting something that made you think of a particular character, any anything in between?

Done!
And here is the same with Santa slipping down the chimney:
Basically all small parts are removable, with the exception of the Christmas wreath. Getting Santa down the chimney was a hard piece of work, but I'm very proud of the results!

The only fandom project I can think of was a cross stitch piece for Torchwood character Ianto Jones' shrine in Cardiff. A friend took it there for me and put it up, then someone stole it so all I have left are the photos.

And booo that someone took it. :(

I was miffed. I keep looking to see if it comes up for sale on ebay, but it hasn't so far. It's my own design, so there won't be another one like it. Ianto is also miffed.

Wow. That sucks.

Yeah, it was annoying. I shall have to make a new one for myself one of these days.

I've made a Jayne hat (Firefly) and a Link hat (Zelda). Both were gifts.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. No, sorry, I just had to laugh because OH BOY HAVE I EVER!! My "Final Fantasy" tag on Ravelry has forty-one projects in it. The majority of those are public, here:

I've also made five Pokemon, and two Neko Atsume playing kitties. And I plan on more geeky projects in the future.

Originally, I was planning to stay up and do more, but I am out of wood for the time being so I am going to go hide in the bedroom where there is a heater and stay there until daylight.
As for the question, I write fanfic pretty regularly and I occasionally make something fandom inspired, but outside of writing it's kinda rare for me. I would like to do more fandom inspired stuff in general.
