Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Still no actual crafting. I collected more leaves from my driveway earlier, but now there's a gusty wind blowing, no doubt bringing more leaves down, and everywhere is wet. It's too dark to see if the leaves are piling up again. Oh well.


I've posted the pattern picture to my journal to get more opinions on which sweater to knit.

My room is clean, huzzah! And I've done a bit of work on a gift today. Sadly, I doubt I'll get anything else done today as it is Obligatory Spend Time With The Family Day. But now that my room is clean, I should have more time for crafting in the upcoming days.

I've baked five different sorts of cookies today. Tomorrow comes the crafty part: the decorating! Now I'm completely done in - but in a good way. :)

That's why baking is also a legitimate craft. The only difference between baking and anu other craft is that you get to eat the results.

Which is a definite advantage if you ask me. Not only because of the yumminess factor but also because baked gifts won't lay around on forgotten shelves for years, gathering dust. ;)

I made chocolate chuck cookies and a broccoli casserole this morning before going to Thanksgiving lunch.

While hanging out after eating I worked on a hat I started knitting yesterday. I got an inch or so done.

I did finish my big scarf but I haven't blocked or photographed it yet.
