Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

No crafting today, but I get get outside late this afternoon while it was mild and still dry, and cleared the leaves from my driveway. Filled two big sacks, so at least those won't get wasted this year. They usually get left until they're so soggy and full of litter they just get chucked.

As I didn't get enough votes to make a decision - one vote for each - I'm posting this again. These are the two patterns I have to choose from for my next knitting project and the yarn I'll be using. Which one should I make this time? I love them both and I'm having a hard time choosing. Let's get a few more votes, friends!

I'm, afraid I can't help you with the decision: both look so lovely!
Although the one on the left does have a unique charm.

Oh no, they are both very nice. Do you have enough yarn for either? The left one looks like more of a yarn eater.

I have seven 100g skeins, balls, whatever you want to call them, so either pattern should be doable. I do intend to knit both designs, because they're both lovely, but one will be in the teal, the other I'll make with some other yarn. Just hard to decide which one should be in the teal, which is a deeper colour than it looks in the picture.

Then the left. Especially think it would be good in a dark teal (suggestion of peacock).

One more surprise box and an awful lot of baking in the last two days. The baking part will continue tomorrow, big time. I've put crafting on the back burner for the time being.

I've been looking at a lot of cookie recipes recently.

Oh, I always start with looking at recipes, too. Usually I make some of the old favourites, and then give new, interesting-looking recipes a try.

I've been doing extra chores the last couple days so husband and I can have tomorrow "off" (US Thanksgiving).

Today I also made a pumpkin pie.

I've settled down now and am watching a relaxing sounds YouTube (rain on a stream) with my placemats project.

Since no one else is coming over, I made a large roast a couple days ago to have leftovers moat of the week.bThen today we are making macaroni & cheese.
