Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I've put away most of the bits and pieces I had out while making spiders, and I've unearthed the knitting magazines I left out months ago because they had patterns in that I like. Next step will be to go through them all again and see if there's a pattern that will work well with the teal yarn I want to make a sweater with. That will give me something relaxing but borderline crafty to get on with.

I have been doing chores all day. Including some extra tidying so we can set up the holiday decorations later this week.

I took a decent photo of the paint colors test on the garage and hopefully everyone's screen will show it close enough. Mint green, emerald forest, and the trim is white.

It's been cold rain for 2 days and it still looks cheery without a lot of light.

I ended up frogging the cowl that I was using my jumbo yarn for.

I'm mostly done with a basic ribbed scarf with the yarn. 1 ball of yarn left. I'm loving how it's coming and how fast it's knitting.

Sometimes frogging something and starting something else with the yarn is the best thing to do. Glad you're happy with the scarf!

Mostly been cleaning my room since Tuesday (it was a total disaster zone) but cleaning ALSO means "untangling yarn", so there's that!

I just came home from Aldi, where I was buying milk for mom, but I also ended up buying two large canvas baskets. Which means I can get rid of the cardboard box that was holding the in-progress nephew's blanket and yarn! The larger basket was perfect for holding that project and its yarn, and the smaller basket is holding the rest of the stuff I had dropped in the box.

I also cleaned off half of one shelf in my bookcase and have dedicated it to WIPs, which are now nicely tucked in bags so that they can't tangle on me AGAIN.

So, lots of crafting-adjacent stuff! I've also slowly been working on a project for one lucky holiday_wishes recipient, and have picked out a pattern for another. Being vague because they're gifts, after all!

Well done with your tidying and untangling. The canvas baskets sound ideal, much better than an old box.
