More than I feel like doing, but the fire has to be cleaned out, coal brought in, and yesterday there were dishes to wash. I only do that every 2 days because I don't generate a lot of washing up. Not got that to do today at least. I WAS going to do laundry, but it can wait.

Last night I've emptied and cleaned all the wee jars containing the expired jam and the likes, and this morning I sacrificed one big jar of not-quite-grapefruit-jam to refill them.

Here they are, all 12 of them:

Working on the placemats slowly!

Exciting thing: we have finalized paint colors! Had to pick a different accent color, but I painted from the sample jar with pick #2 and it worked out. I'll take photos when we've painted the whole garage.

Main: mint green
Accent: "emerald forest"
Trim: white

Congrats on finalizing the paint colors! I'm glad to hear you found some that worked out. The colors sound like a lovely combination.

Finalizing colors is a big relief. We have been talking about it for ages.

Oooh, that sounds lovely! There are so many shades of green, and it's such a good colour for houses, blending in with the natural world =)

Mint green will look cheerful in the winter.whrn everything is brown and gray too.

Finished designing the pull-up banner for the book and now making a matching A3 sign. I feel a bit guilty that I'm not painting them, but they'll look nice and professional printed.

You can't do everything by hand, there aren't enough hours in the day. I'm sure they'll look great!

I've been having a rough time the last few days and had to take a little internet break.

It's been mostly work, knitting, murdle puzzles, and taking care of the cat.

Hopefully, work should calm down soon and I should be spending less time with my main source of stress.

I seem to be closing in on the end of knitting the body of the hat I'm working on.

Sometimes you just need to take a step back. Hoping the stress goes away soon.

A break taken in the right moment can be a life saver. But what are murdle puzzles?

Most definitely.

They are little murder mystery logic puzzles. Basically, like playing Clue for one. You are presented a series of suspects, weapons, and locations, and based on the clues, you figure out where everyone was with what, and who the murderer is.

I think they are. The free online version can be found by searching for murdle puzzles. There is a daily puzzle and a "learn how to play" puzzle that also changes daily on the website.
