Another craftless day *sigh* Cleaning out the fire seems to be taking up most of what used to be my crafting time. Between that and getting dark early, fitting in crafting is so far not working except when watching TV at the weekend.

Some days are better than others, thank God. Today, for example, was fairly good crafting-wise. I've folded and filled all currently existing surprise boxes (I'm up to 107 at the moment) and transformed two tins (originally consisting sweet corn and chopped tomatoes, respectively), into rather Christmassy pencil holders (photos later). That was something I'd planned for a while but kept forgetting about it as the tins weren't in my direct line of sight. Old age can do that to a person.

And that after having managed to do some efficient writing, too!

Already past a hundred! What day is the event again?

December 14. But it's a relief that I'm mostly done. Just a few small details to deal with.

Working just a little bit on the placemats project earlier. It is laundry day and I tried to do a little cooking.

I'm amazed you got any crafting done at all on laundry day!

I am too. It wasn't much but I was also fiddling with "is this wide enough now."

Laundry day is a menace. Great that you managed to do a bit of crafting nonetheless.
