Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Still no crafting =( I can't seem to find the time, except when I'm watching Strictly and knitting arm warmers. By the time I've finished writing it's time for chores, including cleaning the fire out, and once that's done it's getting dark outside and I've lost the natural light. *pouts*


As for the hearing aids, put them in this morning but they didn't seem to be making much difference. Turns out I hadn't closed the battery compartments properly *headdesk* Not wearing them at present because they make typing on my computer sound really noisy and irritating.

That's why my Grandma refused to use her hearing aids: she said they made the background noise so loud she heard worse with them than without them. *g*

No crafting on my end of the connection, either. But at least I did some almost decent writing after the chores were done.

I'll wear them when they'll help, but not when they'll be a nuisance. The point is, I've got them for whenever I need them and they didn't cost a penny. Thanks, NHS =D

It's possible you'd be reactive at first just because you're used to hearing less.

I am knitting my first shawl. I am not sure if the cable for my circular needles will be long enough. We will see.

So far it is gray, but I have some other yarn that has some color that I will add in later.

Slowly working on the placemats project.

I painted the little bit of fence behind our garage today. Hopefully tomorrow I can do the second coat.

Weather holding for a few days. Gardening and further prep of the garage for its upcoming painting should be doable.
