Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

No crafting again, but I have a new fridge, and it keeps things COLD! Wow! Arrived a little before 9.30, and they had the whole job done, old one out and new one in, in less than 10 minutes. Talk about efficient. Then all I had to do was leave it for 4 hours for everything to settle, turn it on, let it sit for a couple more hours, and then fetch my food that's been living in my neighbour's fridge... So nice not having to nip across the road every day for a yoghurt =)

Indeed! The old one was good too, but they don't make them to last the way they used to. I got 13 years of service out of it though.

Today was a bit disjointed as I spent most of it preparing for the meeting with the CPA tomorrow and finishing my book for book club, also tomorrow, but I also got some letters from the bank (personal banking) that I was not expecting to have to deal with. They aren't a big issue, but they have to be dealt with in person.

I did start taking down some of the Halloween decorations, focusing on small decorations that are not part of the Halloween village and my bat wall. Luckily, I didn't lose any bats, but the handi tac did damage some of the 1970s wood paneling, which surprised me. We have wood touch up pens in multiple colors though, so I was able to fix it.

I tried knitting, but I never got to work on it long enough to even finish a complete row on my hat. Oh, and I looked at shawl patterns for the one I was asked to do.

Sounds like a stressful day. Glad all your bats are present and accounted for and that the wall was a quick fix.

Hopefully, once all the other stuff is dealt with tomorrow you can relax with your knitting, and continue your pattern search.

Yes, and work is now once a week, which is helpful. Though the CPA sent me an email today of things she still needs (which is normal) and the list is an attachment in a doc format I cannot open. I know how to work around it and get the list without asking her to resend it, but it was not a pleasant discovery.

Very stressful indeed! I definitely plan on taking a break tomorrow, after grocery shopping (it's discount day).
