Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

41 rows while watching Dancing on Ice. Finished knitting the multi-coloured arm warmer, but then I unpicked the cast off on the other bright pink arm warmer and lengthened that, plus finished lengthening its twin. Still got umpteen pairs to sew up but maybe I'll get them done sometime soon.

I hate having idle hands when watching TV, but Dancing on Ice and Strictly Come Dancing are both shows that I have to look at the screen for so knitting arm warmers is ideal. I get more knitting done during DoI than any other time, lol!

I had yesterday off from computers, but I did manage to do a whole lot of couching on a silk hood! I got the first row done and almost the entire first row of scallops. I'm seriously doubtful that I have enough silk of the same colour to finish the project, and I bought the silk online, so it begs the question, do I keep going and hope for the best, or do I do another two rows and hope the next dyelot matches? I THINK there's enough, but a really can't guess.

Started a new cross stitch project. Not much done with my scarves, but yay new project. I'm liking this one. Counting the stitches is a bit hard, but I'm preferring it over my last big project. Hoping to have a photo up soon.

It's sea shells and a starfish. I'd like to put it in the bathroom, but fabric + water so maybe not? IDK I'll have to see if it'll work in future apartment.

I did a couple more cards over the weekend though I faffed about for most of it, unable to get into the swing of anything.
Most of these were from my box of bits, where I start working on a bit (central motif or border) and then get no further with it trying to match colours and overall design. I can spend two hours agonising over the composition and colours, which is why I usually don't stick anything down until I'm happy with all the elements. They weren't the best cards I've made but at least now they're off my half done pile.

They're lovely, I especially like the bold red one.

Yes, once you stick anything down you're committed. Far better to play around with the bits first until you're sure you like the overall effect.
