Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Four more rows on my arm warmers!

I'm youtubing some old favourites. Right now I'm in an instrumental mood with Jerry Douglas and Russ Barenburg. Big Bug Shuffle. Love it!

Been into those "bardcore" instrumentals recently (covers of modern songs in a medieval musical style - it is weird and neat).

I seem to *finally* be past bronchitis, because I suddenly felt up to doing more than staring at the wall. Today I:
-made an egg casserole (crustless quiche) and biscuits.
-finished the kitchen mat. I shall clean off the table and block it tomorrow.
-equalized the stitch counts on the sides of the dragon blanket (another plain row, but with adding some stitches to bring each side up to the same number).

Happy Valentine's Day everybody! I made a card for Mr Moth, but my phone won't produce a pic that shows it in its 3D glory - as a flat card it is not inspiring. So no pics. He went out (in mask and gloves) and got me a card and some roses - so I have been arranging them, which of course includes stripping off lower leaves, and cutting stems at an angle before plunging into water (different lengths to make the arrangement work).

Music? We watched Johnny Cash last night and although I have a CD and a Spotify list it was good to see him 'live'.

I never get flowers on Valentine's but I'll get some on my birthday if anywhere's selling them. =)

Johnny Cash! *high five* I didn't watch last night, but I did see that concert a while back. I actually saw him live many years ago in Nottingham. He was amazing. I'll never forget that night. What a show.
