Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Today's Question: No question today.

If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.

I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

Keeping up with uncontrollably growing things must be really hard.

I went to school today, where our art teacher, runs a crafting workshop for interested upper primary pupils on Monday afternoons. The kids did needle felting, I spent the time to wrap 28 toilet rolls into leftover snatches of Christmas paper. They will serve as little boxes for the surprise gifts on the Christmas fair. That isn't even half of them (and I still don't know what I'm gonna put into them, as every one is supposed to be a winner), but that was all I could do in an hour and a half. To be continued...

Too much time. Time that ought to be spent with better things. But needs must.

You got a lot done.

I started a lot of things today, but I didn't really finish anything.

- finished knitting the second mitten, but it's not sewn up yet

-got together a small pile of things that need sewn

-got out all the Halloween decorations, but didn't decorate

-sorted through my make up to see what might work for my costume and cleaned make up brushes

-cleaned up a space to wrap art for storage but didn't do it

-wrangled my yarn stash into its new box, but didn't repair the box lid

-poked at some writing, but got no where useable

-worked on more prompt gathering (and big kudos to my co-mod that got the Halloween Baking Challenge themed table post up at [community profile] krazykattstableemporium and the first hundred prompts up.)

-started the first of a second set on mittens with a different pattern

-research knitted web patterns and came up with next to nothing. There are a lot of really nice crochet patterns, but not much for knitting. I think I am going to set the yarn aside and find a new project for it.

Thanks!

I have a screenshot of the pattern on my phone I could email from there. It would be great if you took a look at it.

Thank you much for doing this. I've sent the pattern along. No rush :)
