Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

No actual crafting again today, but I did more re-organising in the boxroom so the 4-drawer unit is now against the wall under the window, where it fits nicely. The two 3-drawer units are in the boxroom too, one stacked on top of the other so I can get at all the drawers and put things in them. I've found quite a few things I'd forgotten about, including ink pads and some fancy scissors.


I also spent some time dismantling some necklaces bought at charity shops for the beads. I want to put a bunch of jewellery making stuff in one of the drawers of the storage unit I put in my bedroom, specifically the things I use when making the pendants for Halloween. It'll keep them together more tidily. I might even make some more pendants next month if I have time, you never know. Anyway, still got at least a dozen necklaces to take apart, which I'll hopefully get done in the next few days. There are a few that mum bought that aren't suitable, so I've added them to the pile of stuff for the charity shops.

No actual crafting over here, either, but I've bought some minor craft supplies, so the day wasn't entirely lost.

Today was not a great day. I thought I had finally ended the saga of cancelling the upgrades to our landline phone account. (We were going add internet, but there was a miscommunication somewhere and the bill we were emailed on the confirmation of our upgrade was more than double what we were quoted and I have spent over 2 weeks trying to fix it.) I communicated repeatedly to everyone I talked to that we were only cancelling the upgrade and wanted to keep our existing phone service. Yeah, found out tonight they also cut off our phone service.

On top of everything else I have going on, to say I feel defeated is an understatement.

I did get almost 2 rows done on the drop stitch shawl.

Argh! Why are people so incompetent? Why don't they listen to their customers? I really hope you manage to get it sorted out. *hugs*

The tech did warn me it might happen when I asked him about it, though he didn't warn me about the weird follow up call, which seems to have triggered the problem. *Hugs* I managed to get it sorted. My mother depends on the caption phone, so I kinda had to XD. They were able to give me a satisfactory reason why it was so hard to fix, but not for what happened in the first place.
