Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

No actual crafting today, just moving stuff around as I start to get my new storage units where I want them. Took a narrower one out of the box room and moved it to my bedroom and put the new 4-drawer one in its place. All my various punches are now in the bottom drawer of that one. Before, they took up one and a half drawers in the one that's now in my room. Still not sure where to put the two 3-drawer units, but no doubt I'll figure it out.


Also did some reorganising of the boxes of books in a cupboard. Managed to find two books to get rid of, and moved some others downstairs to a shelf unit where I had a bit of space. I really need to get rid of more, and I am trying, but most of them I want to at least try reading before sending them to the charity shops.

Organizing things is important; me, I lead an endless (and fairly hopeless) war against chaos in my craft cupboard. *sigh*

And yeah, I'm planning to get rid of half my library, since there are books I haven't touched for a decade or so and likely won't do it, ever...

My whole house is in chaos *hangs head in shame* There was so much stuff in storage that I had to bring home after mum passed, even though I've got rid of a lot of it, I'm still in a mess.

I'll have to be stricter with myself. I can't keep all these books when I'll never read them all. It's time I ditched things I've read that I don't plan on re-reading, and anything I'm never going to get around to reading

It is something I would like, I think, if I can ever make real progress towards it. I'm just in a hopeless mess.

Considering the mess the whole house is in, I don't think it will make a huge amount of difference, but it's worth a try!

I was moderately crafty today. I've made four platform cards for the birthday albums, did the Velcro work on two more mini purses and almost finished one of them entirely. I'm well content.

Time is an issue, so I have to put it to good use. Especially as I'm completely useless in the afternoon, so it has to be done in the morning.

We all fit in what needs to be done when we can do it. I'm more productive in the afternoons, but it's cold here.
