Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

No crafting today.


The dentist visit went as well as could be expected, which basically means money was spent to be told what I already know, but at least the dentist will be getting my x-rays from the hospital. Then we shall see.


After I got home, I took my bike to the bike shop because the gears were slipping. Then I went back to the hardware store for more bird food (very little of that left now), and found they had packs of A4 holographic card, so I grabbed a few. Then ween t to the greengrocer and bought raspberries and Victoria plums.


Back home again, I re-organised the pantry so I could put all the tubs of suet pellets in there where they'll stay cool until they're needed.

Quite a full day, I hope the dentist has a schedule for you soon.

Me too, the sooner the better. I don't want to have to re-schedule other appointments yet again!

I worked on my scraping paint/sanding project a lot today, as I really need to finish. I meant to work on crochet but have just been laying around with a book otherwise.

Things continue to be nuts. Cleaning has eaten my life, but in the process, I also desecrated a few dozen crafting magazines (took the pages I wanted and tossed the rest). I don't know if that counts, but it was very cathartic.

Yesterday, I found some time to get the drop stitch shawl ready to add more yarn and I added a few more rows to the full sized baby blanket.

Today, I made a post of 5 Supernatural headcanons for Supernatural day and finally remembered to sign up for spook_me.

Snakes and Aquatic Monsters. The snakes aren't proving very inspiring just yet, but I haven't had time to really study my pictures yet. Hopefully I can take a closer look at the weekend and start poking my brain for ideas.

Haven't looked at them again yet, I have a weekly challenge I need to write for today, but tomorrow I hope to start seriously looking at my pics and hopefully I can get something moving.
