Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Another 50 spiders are on their elastic, bouncing away. Woo! That's 180 done, 365 to go, but I need to get some more shirring elastic. I've got plenty of black but I'm running low on the white.

Wow! You are speeding along! Isn't it odd, though, that no matter how much stuff one has, there is never enough of what one needs at any given moment?

To be fair, I had one and a half spools of white which would have been plenty if I hadn't made more than twice as many spiders as I'd planned.

I will be, I hope, until the elastic runs out. I've ordered some more, but it won't get here until the end of next week =/

I've eschewed stitching on five identical trees in favour of making the first page of Songbook 2. It's almost done, only a few tiny embellishments left for tomorrow. But considering that we had laundry day, and I visited three different supermarkets in the morning, I consider it good progress.

And I've promised a pic of the front cover, haven't I? Here it is:



The background isn't this plastic white in real life; it has a very nice yellow-ish tint to it, which the mini refused to reproduce. Otherwise the pic turned out fairly well.

Three rows thus far on the cover-up - I'm taking a break to watch a movie right now but when it's done I'm going to do one more row before bed.

I accomplished a lot today. Did some food tasks this morning and spent an hour helping John (mostly sitting pulling nails out of scrap wood).

This afternoon I did another sanding session. This one felt more like I made good progress.

Working on brainless crochet now. It's my brother's night to cook dinner (he's making chicken alfredo)
