Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I did get an emergency dental appointment this afternoon, so now I have more antibiotics. Oh joy. Not.

We know it's an infection from a broken tooth, but nothing can be done about the tooth until the infection is dealt with.

Now, I've started the unicorn by doing the first foreleg.

No actual crafting done today, but I've brought up the strength to take photos of the individual pages - well, two pages on one photo, as the iPad mini has limited storage space. The photos are numerous and quite large, so I don't want to clutter up the space here with them. You can view them here.

Yesterday while at the laundromat I did the thumb of a fingerless mitt I've been making out of some scrap yarn.

Today I bound it off & wove in the ends. There was ... like 6 ends on 1 mitt. That is the downside of scrappy knitting.

Great work! Is that the first or second half of the pair?

Such projects are great for using up oddments, but it's certainly a pain when it comes to finishing off ends. I bet the mitts will be pretty and colourful though.

It's the 1st of the pair. I do have the second one started already. I messed up the thumb on the 1st one so I had to go back to fix it, after realizing I hated the way it was. Now I can get back to the second of the pair.

The Mitts are black on the bottom with a dark Teal in the middle where the thumb is and are lavender tinged pink on top.
