Lovely summery weather today, and might be reasonable tomorrow as well. I got out in the garden for a couple of hours, but again my progress is barely noticeable. My friend who does my shopping mowed the lawn though, so that's good.


In crafting news, I've spent a lot of time recently trying to find my ladybird, fish, and mouse pattern templates. I thought I knew exactly where they were, and of course they're not. I know I had them two or three years ago because I made a scaled down version of the fish pattern, but I have no idea where they went after that. It's infuriating. I'll just have to keep looking because they must be here somewhere.


Instead of cutting out ladybirds, I got out the small teddy bear pattern, which is very basic, just a front and a back, and cut out 6 of them in different colours.

Teddys are lovely! I hope you'll find your other patterns as well - I'd be interested in the mouse, if you'd be willing to share.

No crafting for me today; I had a lovely garden party with two friends around noon and was too tired afterwards for anything else.

The mouse is actually quite big, it's my own design, 3.5 inches long (excluding the twisted cord tail) and almost 2.5 inches tall. If I ever find the patterns I might be able to design a smaller version. I'll have to get around to posting pictures, I just don't have any yet. I'll happily share, if the patterns ever turn up =/

Thanks for sharing the pattern; actually, what I need are just the individual pieces to see what shape they are. I can then figure out the size that would fit my purposes (or so I hope...)

Thanks, so do I. It's ridiculous, I found a whole load of patterns a while back and thought I at last knew where they all were, only to find that the ones I'd found to start with have vanished. It's like I can't know where they all are at the same time. If I find one lot, I lose the others.
