Check-In Post July 29th 2023
Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
Today's Question: No question today.
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

And so I finally stuffed the cat's body, attached it to the head and attached the one arm and leg I had made. I'm currently making the second arm.
The end is in sight.

It's an almost cat, well done! I'm sure it will be finished in time to enjoy the rest of your vacation with you.

Now only the chicken and the ant are left before I start putting the book together.
Re: Page 7
Must admit I'm curious to see the ant *g*

I knitted a small practice swatch to see how my blanket pattern alterations will look. At this point I'm not sure if it can still be called alterations or if it's just a new pattern now.
For Winterfest in July, I posted a recipe in my journal for one fill, I did a big stash busting binge for another, and I plotted on my fic for my last fill.
The stash busting was my stash of Christmas craft supplies. During my time I allotted myself, I finished 4 wreath themed cards from a partial kit, did 3 fill ornaments, decorated 3 little containers, decorated 2 foam gingerbread men, and finally finished decorating the mat around a picture of me with Santa.
The 100 days of Halloween Happy prompt for today was haunted, so I made a ghost costume for Zompig and got it posted to Instagram.
And I knitted a few rows on the not-a-baby-blanket while I watched TV.

Would love to see Zompig in his ghost costume *grins* I'm not on instagram though.

I am trying to figure out how to make that happen XD I know that if I have a direct link to the post, you can see the single post without having Instagram, but I cannot figure out how to get that link while on my phone, but I will figure it out.

The stash busting session was about 2 1/2 hours and most of the rest was done either very early in the morning or very late at night because I don't really get much sleep XD
