Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

Another cold, wet, and dismal day here in England, with no sign of summer ever happening, so I snuggled in a blanket, put a DVD on, and made 10 more spiders. I am so tired of the rain and low temperatures and having tio wrap up like it's still winter.

We've had much the same weather, but two days now with no rain at least. Today we even had some sun, I hope it reaches across the north sea to you soon!

I'm sorry summer keeps evading you. Would it help if you pretended that it's Halloween season? You do already have a spider army in progress.

It is the aftermath of the annual carpet cleaning, so we are both fairly dead on our feet. I did a bit of crafting, though: all background elements and embellishments for Page 6 are done, which is more than I had originally hoped for.

Finished the second part A piece, and have joined both part A pieces on the needles! Realised my needles are not gonna be big enough for this so I've ordered some circular ones - I think I can make do with what I've got for the few days it'll take for them to get here.

Fitting stitches onto a regular needle, especially if there are a lot, can be impossible. Hope your new needles arrive quickly.

I've been journaling and looking at my current crochet project lying in a corner by my bookcase. I'll get back to it again at some point. With journaling I spent some time on pages connected to travels and my sister's recent wedding. I also added some things in my 2022 journal I hadn't put in.

SQUEEING FOREVER!!! (the secret project I was working on a while back got selected as a finalist in the art contest it was submitted in!!)

No crafting yet today so far, but I intend to settle down and do some soon. First I've got to find the oomph for an important email, though.

We have been getting just enough wildfire smoke that it's noticable. So, it was very much an inside day, mostly meaning I got roped into helping my mother with her shenanigans instead of my own.

Despite that, I still got some knitting on the not-a-baby-blanket done, I did more paper craft supply stash sorting, and just because I found it in the wrong box and am trying to find my "Winterfest in July" spirit, I colored in a reindeer plush.

It's a white reindeer with outlines of stars and holly plants on it. It comes with markers to color on the plush with. Then when you are done with it, you throw it in the washing machine, let it dry, and color it again. Kinda like a 3D, squishy coloring book page.

Sorry you're still getting wildfire smoke. Wishing I could send all my rain to Canada to help put the fires out.

The reindeer plus sounds fun, if a little bizarre *grins* I wouldn't think it would be easy to colour!
