Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

My cats are finished. All six of them. *And* I've cut out and glued on certain important background pieces for Pages 5 and 6. I'll still have to stitch them on, but it's nice to see what they'll look like when they are finished.

The rest is all cut out and waiting for me to have a bit of time to complete them.

Sewing on XL pillow 3 of 3. I mended some today (put a button on, crocheted up around the spots on a rag rug that had unraveled).

The hand sewing has grown on me.

It does have a calming effect, unless you have a deadline.

No deadline, will be very nice to have some things off the to-do pile.

It's so nice to get through with some mending and see your efforts put to use! I like it (and should do more of it).

I've been AWOL again but I've embroidered, I'm working on a crocheted Pac-Man ghost, and I'm sewing a pocket on the back of my solar system piece so it can be hung at the first art show at the end of the month. Lots to keep me busy/distracted.

I did it! I finished the woven blanket I've been working on and I gave it to its intended recipient, my friend at my grad school program who is graduating this semester!

I'm always worried that the recipient of a gift is going to wish I'd just spent the money on a gift card (even though that's never happened - at least, they've never told me so!) but she was so surprised and happy. She saw me finishing it up and said, "That's cute!" and it was so fun to get to tell her, "I'm glad you like it! It's for you!"

I finished the last rows of the shawl today. I'm saving binding off for fiber group because the library director wanted to see how that worked, which isn't until the end of the month.

Now, maybe I'll work on my other neglected projects until then, lol.

*grins* Different places have different terms for a lot of things. It can be hard to know which to use.
