Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Today's Question: No question today.

If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.

I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

Oh no, how annoying that the missing pair of legs was right there the whole time. I'm glad it was found, at least!

Oh, that is good! Finding missing parts is always such a relief!
A few years ago I made a little felt knight for someone as a gift. It was almost done, but I couldn't find half of his sword, although I knew I had it cut out. So I cut it out again and stitched it on. Weeks later I found the missing part: in my slipper!

This was the knight, BTW.

What a relief! We can't be having spiders getting legless at your place!

Good progress. Congrats on finding the missing legs!

Didn't have time to knit at all yesterday so I wanted to do extra today, but I just cannot keep my posture in check and I really wrecked up my back and shoulders doing two hours of knitting today. I may do some later now that I've stretched and taken some rest time but if not tonight, I'll hope to get more done tomorrow. I think I left off on row 23 of 33 in piece A but checking would require me to get off the sofa where I am soooo comfy so I won't. XD

Being comfy is important. :)

I too cannot keep my posture in check while knitting. It sucks how much it kills your back. I have a shoulder cape heating pad that helps, as does extra pillows.

You are making excellent progress! Enjoy that comfy spot!

I worked on increasing the (felt) cat population: the last two cats are now equipped with eyes and paws, one of them even has a tail. ;) It was too warm to do anything else, so I stopped at that point.

Yay cats!

I worked on that cat's torso again today. I did the white part at the bottom, and the first two stripes of its "shirt".

Excellent!

Nice!

I see I'm not the only one with cats, but I bet yours is a lot more difficult to make. Good progress!

Knitted while I watched some movies today. For s&g, I timed how long it takes to purl one row on the shawl at this size, and it takes me just under 2 hours. A knitted row is less, but I didn't time it.

Well done on your progress!

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with knitspeak, but it sounds like a lot of progress. Go you!
