Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Spent the afternoon playing with my Cuttlebug again, mostly cutting frames because I use those a lot to border cross-stitched pieces for cards. I'm playing with old Christmas cards to get something more interesting than plain colours.


Tried cutting some Christmas Tree motifs too, and some came out nice, but the fancier dies are hard to get the cut piece out of in one piece. I obviously still have a lot to learn.

It was, and mostly successful. But I don't have enough cutting dies, I want more! (So expensive though).

Oh, that must be frustrating: when a pretty motif won't come out in one piece. Good luck with the experimenting, you'll get a hang on it soon, I'm sure.

There's only been one real disaster, where the swirly tree ended up crumpled and a bit torn, and a couple of near misses that are a bit bent. Oh, and a couple where the cutting die slipped from where I wanted it so the centre of the frame isn't central, but I can pretend those were deliberate ;)

Wove in ends and blocked the plushie scarf today, so that'll be completely done soon.

That's gonna be it for me for a little while - I didn't get any of the jobs I applied for over the last month so it'll be a bit longer before I can get materials to start the cover-up.
