Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

40 more spider bases cut out, leaving only 18 to do, although I might leave those until I get the felt I'm ordering as I don't have anything that works too well with some of the fabric I've cut.


Also ripped a few more CDs, Won't get anything done tomorrow because of my physio appointment...

I'm satisfied with what I got done.

Been doing my physio exercises for almost two weeks and it does seem to be helping my neck, but now my back and arms hurt =/

Thank you so, so much again to everyone who helped with the beach cover-up; I've made notes of everyone's advice and I'm definitely going to give it a go. I'm going to finish the infinity scarf before starting it but hopefully will be able to get supplies soon.

How many more rows do you have to do on the scarf?

This one I'm not keeping track of the number of rows - it's just alternating knit and purl rows until it's seven inches wide, and it's currently at 2 and a half inches. I've made this pattern twice before so I'm comfortable with it :D The main thing I learned making it before was not to leave off at the end of a row because that always confused me; if I leave off half-way through a row, I can look at where my yarn is and know what I'm doing.

Still quite a way to go then, but you've found a method of keeping track that works for you.

The house projects list is huge recently. I'm going to sit quietly and work on little crochet bits for the rest of the day.

Here's a freshly blooming iris today, it's showing up bluer in the photo than real life (definitely a blue purple though).

Had scheduling problems today so very little crafting was done. I've finished the last 3 cards but didn't manage to apply the numbers; that will have to wait until tomorrow. After that, I'll attack the individual tags, which promises to be a lengthy and detailed job.

I hadn't gotten far in the jacquard knitting yesterday, so it didn't hurt too badly when I frogged it to start over. I completely was lost in the pattern and didn't know where I was and what color was next. I ended up drawing a new chart with extra columns for the jacquard, in a way that makes sense to me. I also divided my stitches on my DPNs so each DPN holds one repeat. That is helping a lot, and I'm back on track with that piece.

But mostly I worked on another piece, and got quite a bit done. I *could* have done even more, but there was a new patch in my MMO yesterday and I had to finish playing it today. Well, I didn't HAVE to, but all my friends had finished it and I was feeling left out, so. Yeah.

Gonna get ready for bed and then see about doing a few rounds on the second piece. Every bit helps!

Glad you managed to sort yourself out again. Losing track of where you are on a pattern is so frustrating,.
