Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Amazingly, today stayed dry and was even reasonably warm when the sun wasn't hiding behind clouds, so I spent some time outside battling brambles. As a result, I have more thorns in my hands despite wearing thick gloves, so OW!


No crafting done though =(

Brambles are never fun, but they have to be dealt with.

I did! I have a very sore finger where a couple of thorns jabbed me right in the middle knuckle >.< In the end the brambles came off worst though, so I guess I won.

Back to sewing

I've made the last animal to the finger puppet children's song book (the rooster), and I've made my very first Weihnachtswichtel (Nisse) - also a finger puppet, using the Christmas card an online friend sent me as a template. It turned out very pretty, so I'm gonna make a few (?) more for the Christmas market. I'm also planning to make them doors of lolly sticks and give them to friends and family with small children for Advent. Eventually.

I have finished knitting the Woolly Bully bag. It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be. The picture of it worn makes it look like a small purse, but nope. it's definitely more messenger bag sized! It goes in the wash for felting tonight, and I'm hoping it shrinks down quite a bit. If not, I might be knitting another one with smaller dimensions, as my plan for this bag was to use it as my new purse, and I don't like big purses.

Would washing it really hot help?
