Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Better weather today. It was supposed to rain, but as far as I can tell, it didn't. I still didn't do anything though. I have no energy, plus I weas very late to bed last night so I'm tired. I've done some writing, read a couple of fanfics, and that's about it.

Definitely need those days. The brush to cut back and the weeds will be waiting for you!

Everywhere's too wet for digging at the moment thanks to all the rain, but there are things I can cut back if I ever find the energy.

Kind of chilly today after several warm days. Hearing thunder, hope we get some rain!

Strep throat kicked my butt. I have mostly been reading but am working on a dishcloth now.

My lilac started blooming and it is white! I had no idea. We had cut it back when we first moved in because the plant was outrageously huge.



Also I walked down to John's house, because I felt well enough to get up but not well enough to work on my own garden, and looked at his flowers. These Virginia bluebells are lovely.

The more you rest the faster you'll recover, hopefully. Reading is restful, and a short walk in the fresh air probably did you good too.

I did scope out the bee balm. John said if I wanted some to dig up any escaping the flowerbed next to the alley.

Haven't done any knitting yet today, but I have been taking breaks from packing - I baked some flapjacks, and the ebook I've been waiting for from the library for two months finally came in so I've been reading, too. Am just about to do a couple of rows on the rainbow scarf, though!

I do! I tend to like something a little more involved than flapjacks, just to occupy my hands and mind a bit, but I have some oats that needed using and a friend just sent some honey from his brother's bees, so it was a good use for those :D

I always get confused about flapjacks, here that means pancakes.

Yum, flapjacks are among my favourite things although mine are shop bought.

Baking and reading are good substitutes for knitting!

Honestly I haven't yet figured out how to make mine as good as store-bought!

I did get a little bit of knitting done in the end, too :)

I worked a bit on the Hello Kitty booklets; the bathrooms now all have washing machines and a sink. Small progress but progress nonetheless.
