Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Sewed up two arm warmers and found another pair I haven't sewn up yet. Oops!

They weren't in the drawer where I put the others to wait for sewing up because there wasn't room.

I have completed one half of my knitted heart - it will be two sides sewn together.

Those blue silk sleeves didn't finish sewing themselves last night. Now it's bed time. Over the weekend I'm going to attempt to peen some belt mounts onto a tablet woven belt that I paid someone else to make for me (Mervi in Finland! she's amazing.) Here's a picture of it. I'm a bit terrified I'm going to wreck it putting the mounts on. It's hand woven silk and hand dyed. The pattern is based on a find from London excavations. Tablet weaving is on my To Learn list.

The simple forms look not too hard, but there are patterned ones as well! So cool!

I went through my scrapbag and took a picture</> of the various bits and pieces. Hopefully this'll be an easy reference to check what I've got that needs using up, and having it laid out might prompt some ideas for how to do that

I've finally reached the short row shoulder shaping on the front of my Weekender Light. I won't have the sweater done by the beginning of February but maybe by Valentines's day? Let's hope so. I want to be able to wear it this winter.
