Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Today's Question: No question today.

If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.

I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

But you're making steady progress, so it's good, isn't it?
Thursday, March 30th, 2023 09:07 pm (UTC)
That's still progress though.
Thursday, March 30th, 2023 10:44 pm (UTC)
Steady is good at least!

I've glazed yesterday's biscuits - all 80+ pieces of them.
I've added some more embellishments to the finished baby books - all 3 of them.
I've added the wall clocks and the bedside tables to the Hello Kitty booklets - all 5 of them.
Not bad for a single day, I say.

That's incredibly productive!

Needs must...

Thanks. I'm fairly pleased with today's accomplishments.

That's a LOT! Good day.

A good day indeed. A disjointed one like practically all my days, but at least I was able to put those half-hours or so to good use.

I'm afraid I haven't been here much lately - I was away last week, and this week I've been catching up. But here for those not on my flist, is my monthly crafting post.

Thank you very much.

More mermaids! :D

There can never be enough mermaids. *g*

Mini Hobbit is fond of mermaids

I finished weaving in ends on the small baby blanket. It is 3 blues and white in the middle.

This is very pretty. Although the colours appear to be different on my screen: black, blue, light grey and beige. Odd, what effects different electronic devices can produce. Still, I love it.
Thursday, March 30th, 2023 10:56 pm (UTC)
Yeah, no photo I take makes the first blue look anything but gray!

And some devices are downright capricious. My iPad mini delights in turn everything white into blue.

A lovely blanket.

That's so pretty

Im putting together a medieval lantern kit with glue and nails. Still a few bits to go before staining it an oak colour but I'm loving it!!

Great that it's turning out.

I did some seams on another English-paper-pieced star while listening to a talk before a symphony orchestra concert. (Frightfully upper-class of me, I fear.)

There's nothing wrong with class. There is way too little of it all around in these days.
