Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
Today's Question: No question today.
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

Some shades of pink are quite disturbing in their pinkness.

What's the plan for it? (I don't think I've seen this before, so excuse me if you've been patiently explaining your plans all through the process.)

Now I just have to find batting for two more quilts! I think I'll go to the local big-habadashery store and buy it; I would have preferred to buy a roll from a small quilt shop, but if I do this now, then NEARLY ALL MY QUILT TOPS ARE BEING QUILTED!

The yarn I ordered from Colourmart has made it to US customs in the biggest city near me, hurray! Shouldn't be much longer.
Tomorrow I stop at a craft store to pick up some anti-pilling acrylic yarn for a stuffed toy of Clifford, the Big Red Dog. I'm making it at mom's request to give to a friend of hers who's having a baby. I'm just glad it's not a baby blanket this time! Clifford should go much faster.

Yay, hope your yarn will soon be with you =)
Clifford should be fun to make, and I'm sure the baby will appreciate him.

If I doing these challenges, there would be an awful lot of knitted mice, I think.

I've been resting my hands the last couple days, mostly. They are still a tiny bit sore from knitting the bag strap.
Today was just a generally bad day overall, but I made a chocolate pie for pie day and wrote a very last minute drabble for Squidgiepdx' Pi Day Drabble-ish-or-more-a-thon and Story_Works' Pi Day Flash Challenge here on DW. To my personal amazement, I also got it posted to AO3 before midnight here, though I am pretty sure I will need to change up the tags a little.
Yesterday, Lynn and I met for the first time in 2or 3 weeks. I made her chocolate sugar cookies. We worked on another of her subscription box card kits - bright pink, green, and black and white birthday cards. They were fiddly and not to Lynn's liking, but we made it through.
I also made more repairs and tweaks to the altered book. I'm starting to get frustrated with how slow it's going.

Hope your hands are recovering. Mine are sore too from lugging logs, so not much knitting happening.
The pie sounds delicious, and well done for getting something written for pi day too!
Not sure those cards would have been to my tastes either, but they're done now.
Hope the altered book will soon be progressing better for you.
