Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

My Nerdopolis team came in first place for round 1 of the current tournament! YAY!!!

Last night in a fit of middle-of-the-night insomnia I did another row on my hoodie, which has been languishing for a few weeks. So I at least touched it once this month, which means I can get a star for Summit Seekers check-ins next month in Nerdopolis.

This morning I worked a bit on the bag. I'm hoping to finish it this month, for Nerdopolis Area 51.

I'm contemplating what to do for the rest of Nerdopolis this round. I'm not going to have much crafting time this month, so while I had hoped to make bigger projects this month, I might have to just whip up some coasters. We'll see.

Impatiently waiting for my Colourmart yarn to arrive. Last I checked it was leaving the UK, so should get it this week, I think!

I had to cook in advance for the next two days, plus we had family visiting in the afternoon, so very little time for crafting. I've made 6 little tags for the baby books (3 more or less identical pairs) and did some prep work for the Hallo Kitty! booklets. I've discovered that my templates will be too small for the page bases, so I'll put them into the printer and enlarge them tomorrow.

I crocheted while Zooming with a friend last night, and I think I'm doing better at stitching all the way to the end of the row. (I may have overstitched once, oops.) And today while hanging out virtually with a friend I finished Saturn's rings and started on the rest of the planet!

I'm working on split mitten #2. Have progressed into the palm area. I've shown the first one around and what people said about it:
-alien hand
-dinosaur
-ninja turtle, should make it in green.

Today, I learned it is infact possible to shove 189 stitches onto my stubby size 7 knitting needles. You shouldn't, but you can. Today, I knitted the bag shoulder strap and the closure loop. The strap was a tiny bit of a nightmare, but I made it work - with force and my bruised fingers may never forgive me. I might have to make another closure loop when it comes time to sew everything together. It just looks too short.

I also did a bunch of fiddly work on the altered book.

That must have been a huge effort, kudos for succeeding but I'm not surprised your fingers aren't happy!
