Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Thanks! I managed 18 rows, although I had to unpick and re-do most of one row when I gave myself an extra stitch again *sigh*

I worked a tiny bit on Baby Book #2. The page isn't completed yet, but I did about half the work needed to be done, so I'm not complaining. After cooking and baking it is reasonable progress.

Today we also had choir practice, which is always a delight. Before going to it, I went to the sewing supplies shop and bought the fabric for this felt book, which I'm supposed to make for our conductor during summer. I got a lovely unicorn pattern for the outer cover and some pale lilac for the inner one, so it will be nice. I hope. *g*

Thanks. I was surprised to manage that much.

As for the fabric, I'd have preferred something less kitschy, but all they had were various polka dots and floral stuff, none of which really suited the book.
