Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

The plum sweater is finished! No photos taken yet, by the time I finished off the last end the sky had clouded over, but I'll try to photograph it soon.

I'm going to start working on the mittens in a few minutes. Was trying to get my little chores done.

Just repotted an African violet. It's looking terrible, and considering that the only other plant I have put in this pot died oddly, I can only assume there's something really bad in this pot. Hopefully have moved it quickly enough.

Also the first bloom on my amaryllis is open! I love this thing.

Oh no, Pot of Doom! I hope you transferred the plant soon enough. If I were you, I'd chuck the pot.

The amaryllis is gorgeous! My mum had a friend who called them Amorous Lilies. I'm not sure if she was being funny or if she just couldn't get the name right.

Repotting :) I have done some of what during the winter, and it is just nice to have soil under my hands.

started working on my craft project(s) somewhat late today and only managed to do half of what I had been originally planning to do. Of course, the fact that I suddenly decided to add some more embellishments to the one page I had actually finished yesterday did play a role. So I had to leave the 3rd one of the semi-identical pages for tomorrow because I really didn't feel all that creative after cooking.

But you still made progress! It's easy to look at the negative side and think 'I didn't get what I wanted done' but sometimes we need to look at what we did achieve rather than what we didn't.

I haven' really been creative in a long time, beyond journaling and a little bit of writing, but today I got some "proper" writing down, but I also want to get back to my weaving project.

I seriously envy you for the part of "proper" writing. It has been so long since I managed to do that.

I am supposed to be in bed, but I wanted to check in first.

Yesterday, I "finished" the scarf. I completed the pattern, but I haven't cast off yet because I can't decide if I want to make it slightly longer or not.

Today, I did things for the altered book. I brainstormed some layouts, I cut out a bunch of custom tag bases, did some sketches and started some backgrounds for said tags, and contemplated how to get around some supply issues.

Hopefully, before or after the play tomorrow I will have tested some spray inks. If I don't get some backgrounds done, I'm not sure what I will do at Lynn's on Monday.

Woohoo! Sometimes it's best to wait to cast off until you're sure you're happy. I do that with sleeves, arm warmers, neckbands...

Sounds like good progress being made on the altered book. Good luck with the inks, I hope they work.
