Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

The dark red sweater is finished! Tomorrow I can start sewing up the plum one. *sigh*


Tomorrow I will also try to get a photo of the red one, but red is the hardest colour to photograph so I'm expecting a red splodge with no visible pattern detail. That's what usually happens.

I did a lot of crafting in the morning: I worked simultaneously on the next page of all three books. I haven't managed to finish them, of course, but I made good headway and hope to complete them tomorrow. Or the day after.

I knew I probably wouldn't have the time (or energy) to do anything on Thursday, so I tried to work in advance. And I was right!

Emptied out my craft toolbox and scrubbed it in the sink today. It was dirtier than I expected when I pulled everything out. I'm now trying to decide how to organize. I think I need to use little containers or dividers.

I've also sorted out a handful of things that I no longer have use for.

Going to decide on some yarn for the Tunisian pouch shortly. Probably.

Was hoping to finish my guinea pig tonight - the turkey work part, and then cut the loops off tomorrow. But it's 10PM, so maybe tomorrow. And I did some crocheting as well!

No use to put pressure on yourself. That kills all the crafting fun. There's always tomorrow.

Today was a bit crazy. For one thing, it snowed. It pretty much never snows here and honestly, it didn't stick or anything, basically we just had fluffy rain, but everyone lost their minds. So most of my day was spent dealing with other people's stuff and trying to keep my room relatively warm and dry without starting a fire (it's a very damp space on a dry day).

But on the plus side:

the storage containers I missed out on at the beginning of the year were suddenly back in stock

My nephew decided to talk out my little mice fic when he called to distract himself from getting his teeth pulled tomorrow

And I got a lot of knitting done. I think there is only 29 rows left on the scarf.

Ugh, dampness is awful, my house gets damp during wet summers when the fire is out. Also, ugh snow! Or, in your case, fluffy rain, lol!

Yay for storage containers, little mice, and knitting! That scarf will be finished before you know it!

The dampness is a constant struggle, but the snow definitely presents an extra challenge. I'm a little afraid I'm going to end up burning out my dehumidifier and my space heater is the snow doesn't go away soon though.

Thanks! It's warmed up considerably (54F/12C during the day), so I have been able to give things a bit of a break.
