I have picked up stitches around the neck of my sweater and ribbed the first row, but that's all I got done because the day turned really dull and overcast and couldn't see well enough to tell if it looked right. Because of the colour of the yarn, turning the light on didn't make it any clearer.

Yeah, artificial light can mislead you in that area. So un-curteous of the weather!

Page #2 of Baby Book #3 is finished. That makes - so far - 10 pages out of 33 altogether, if one counts the front cover and the insides of both covers. Not bad in itself, but still an awful lot to do.

That's a major achievement - picking up stitches for the neck is always hard and it doesn't help when the weather decides to continue being miserable.

That sounds very good, it may feel like there's a lot left to do, but you've made a great start.

I spent a while putting right some stitches where I'd made a mistake - it's back on track now.

I know. I've tried to do as much in advance as possible because the schedule is quite tight, and I can't know in advance how much crafting time I'll have.

Last night I finished the second hat. Today all I've done is write up my notes (since I mostly made this up as I went along). They aren't identical.

I much fear that I have caught a SECOND cold while still exhausted from the first! Unfair! But that is what happens when one member of the household works at a grocery store and another an elementary school.

It was part of a cross stitch card I was doing the other night. I didn't feel like correcting it at the time, so put it to one side until I had more enthusiasm today.
