Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Aside from laundry, all I've done today is write, read fanfic, and sew up the shoulder seam of my sweater. My brain was not in the mood for calculating the stitches for the neckband. Maybe tomorrow...

Had to sew the shoulder seam before starting the neckband so I figured I might as well get it done even if my brain wasn't up to the next part *grins*

It wasn't bad. There were other chores, but not an excessive amount.

I picked up the stitches for it yesterday, but the light was so bad I couldn't see what I was doing. I'll check today and see it it's okay.

I've made progress with Mini Hobbit's sleeveless top - should finish it soon. And my cross stitch is progressing well.

And for those not on my flist, yesterday I did some copper embossing

The first real page of Baby Book #1 is finished. I'm more content with the colour scheme of this one, and fortunately, no disaster happened. Tomorrow I'll have marginally more time, so I intend to attack the respective 2nd pages - or, at the very least, one of the three.

Books #1 and #3 are due at the end of April. Book #2 is due around the beginning of June - unless the respective babies have other ideas. *g*

I started a job this week (my first job in many years) so there's been no crafting this week until today, when I was off. I did one row on that hoodie I've been working on.

I can't remember if I mentioned that I finished the stitch sampler cowl I was doing, but I did. And then I started another one to time myself/test the pattern (good thing, because I found some errors in the pattern as written!). I'm up to the first edging of the cowl.

I was feeling horrible today (a variety of issues) and basically spent the whole day in my blanket fort watching anime and knitting, but I got the body done on the baby blanket.

I was, then I read something that poked my anxiety bad enough, I'm actually shaking. So right now I'm just hoping I will find a way to sleep and get things done tomorrow.

I didn't get any crafting done but I did meet a friend after work and we went to the 'Dreaming Trees' exhibition in a local park (along with masses of other people). It's an installation of lights to illuminate some of the trees and bushes, in sections there were sounds to add to the effect. The lights would change colour - beautiful! But meant I got home late so by the time I had eaten I was too tired to do anything.
