Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I worked a bit on the baby-books-in-the-making. Now all there of them have their basic covers finished. Which was the easiest part, of course. The really finicky work just begins. I decided to do the mass production thing again, in the hope that it will help with speed and efficiency. After all, they'll go to three different families, so it won't matter if the design is similar, right?

Shouldn't matter at all, and if it helps speed up production then that's a good thing! Besides, similar doesn't mean identical, they'll still all have differences, perhaps in colours or embellishments, and certain things are standard for all baby books anyway since they're all designed to contain the same basic baby information and places to add photos.

It sounds like a good plan to tackle the project. I don't think it should matter if they are similar - with baby books wouldn't some similarity be expected anyway. Good luck I hope things go well for you.

I have successfully completed the ribbing for the first sleeve, and I even did the increase row. Then I had to undo it again because although I ended up with the right number of stitches, somewhere along the way I'd started to knit the purl stitches and purl the knit stitches. Just goes to show no matter how experienced a knitter is, we can still screw up the most basic things without noticing. Anyway, it's fixed now so I can start the pattern tomorrow. Fingers crossed I don't screw that up!

Oops! I have to admit it's comforting to hear that even experienced knitters make silly mistakes like I've been doing XD

I was having a bad mental health day and wasn't sure I was going to do any crafting today, but I talked myself into doing an Instagram post of a paper airplane/"sending my love" themed valentine I made last week at my friend's.

After that, it opened the gates a little bit and I swatched the new pens I found while supply shopping today (probably not going to work in my bullet journal) and I finished an unfinished card. On the card, I had wanted to frame the image in the middle with a collage of heart stickers. It was very relaxing.

So glad crafting helped you relax. Sometimes pleasurable distractions can help on bad days. The cards sound lovely!

Earlier in the week I did a bit more on the cross-stitch. On Sunday, I did a bit of scratch art in the advertising breaks for DoI.
