Check-In Post February 2nd 2023
Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
Today's Question: No question today.
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

I am working on the miniature coffeehouse.
Still collaging.
And doing jigsaw puzzles.

Today I mostly repotted plants. I was surprised how quickly it went, but I also planned out very well who was moving to what pot (of the ones potting up) in advance, instead of spending part of the morning poking around at them. I'm trying to put my tiniest violet on a wick watering system. Usually I do not do these, but it gets overdry and then I flood it.
How tiny it is - potted in the cap of a broth carton. My shovel is an old xacto knife blade.
Also tonight I made a quick batch of drop biscuits due to an overwhelming need to bake.

And then I went nuts this afternoon. I had Stitch Club today, and once again everyone told me "You should totally teach this stuff!" I have various reasons for why I've never pursued it before, and one of them is that I don't have sampler patterns to use (Copyright prevents me from using others' patterns as handouts in class.) So, I have started designing a crocheted sampler scarf, with really detailed instructions aimed at the total newcomer to crochet. Who knows if I'll follow through, but for right now this is what's exciting me.

Stitch and stream made a comeback. I started the Devilman Crybaby 2018 limited series and got another 11 rows on the scarf. I had to stop because my wrist is a little messed up today. Somehow, I managed to hurt it and my back while grocery shopping.
I also tried to add some extra glitter to my mother's birthday card with the glitter glue I found the other day, but was only semi successful. My mom is kind of a more is more person when it comes to glitter.
I also finally put pictures of the demagorgon cat house I assembled on Instagram and did some Snowflake Challenge catch up.
And a tiny meeces fic is percolating on my brain.
