Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Haven't been feeling great today, plus I've been wrestling with laundry and other chores, so I've only managed 4 rows on the sweater back so far, but I'm going to do some more shortly.


On the plus side, I've found that I am able to knit wearing the support glove on my right hand so the sore spot at the base of my thumb isn't getting aggravated by my knitting rubbing against it all the time. The glove does slow me down a bit, but it's not going to stop me.

With the glove over a sticking plaster so it doesn't get stuck to my knitting, there's enough padding that the tiny sore bit won't be made worse. Does make me a bit clumsy, but it's manageable. I'm up to 18 rows today niw and hoping to do a bit more later.

I've started on the Hello Kitty booklet today and made the folded basis as well as most of the front page. Two windows and one kitty head to do yet. Then I'll go on to the individual rooms. I also made the cover for that baby book I started yesterday, so crafting-wise it was a good day.

Frankly, all that pink in the original makes my eyes bleed, so I'll probably use some alternate colours. I also intend to cut out and glue on all the details instead of drawing and colouring.

Too much of any one colour gets overwhelming. Variety is better.

I'm at 2.5 rows of blue on the second half of the cardi.

Also tried a spray seal plain on the inside of a couple plant pots. Hopefully it works out.
