Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I've only knitted 8 rows on my sweater so far today, but I'm about to put the TV on, watch a DVD, and get some more done. My aim is 24 rows altogether, so another 16 rows, but if I get more than that done I'll be even happier.

Trouble is I can't pay enough attention to the TV when I'm knitting this pattern since it's quite complex and I was trying to re-watch episodes for drabble inspiration. The knitting went well, the fandom re-watch not so much.

I'm having a chore day so that sounds very relaxing!

Makes my hands and arms ache because I haven't knitted anything bigger than an arm warmer in over a year, but I made good progress, 30 rows altogether!

Dani's quiet book is all but finished. The only thing I still have to do is to fasten the clasps that will close it, and I'll be done. *wipes forehead* I hope to do that tomorrow, and then there will be a picture, honest!

I mended a bottom bed sheet corner and did one row on the cardigan.

It's laundry AND cooking day for me here. I am making Alton Brown's whole pumpkin soup though, so I'm very pleased. One of my favorite recipes. You hollow out the pumpkin, put the ingredients inside, bake, and then use an immersion blender at the end. Lovely every time. recipe link I hope

Late check in because of weird sleep patterns

There was attempts at crafting/creativity today

I was going to start my closet project today, but when I got to the store for supplies, they were out with no hope of restock.

I translated the recipe for dinner from German, but the meat didn't thaw in time and I am kind of questioning if it hasn't gone off anyway. If it's okay, I will make it tonight.

I got out supplies to do the finishing touches on the cards from Monday, but one of my nephews needed someone to talk through something he found upsetting he found on the internet. That just seemed more important.

One thing I did do was start touching up a Christmas decoration, but the paint was refusing to come out of the bottle, so I gave up for the night.

My tiny octopi collection has grown though.
