Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Still writing, but still to weary for crafting. I plan on reading again this evening while the wind blows a gale outside. At least the rain wasn't as bad as forecast. Still a good day for staying indoors as much as possible.

Another day full of non-crafty stuff, but at least I've cut out the lining pieces for the quiet book pages. Tomorrow promises to be quiet, so I hope I can finish the rocket page; perhaps even start lining and sewing together the pages. *fingers crossed*

I am having trouble with my current project - I'm learning turkey stitch for it and doing poorly, ugh, and also the stitch I picked for the background doesn't look as good as I had envisioned and is taking me EONS to do on top of that. Hmph.

That sounds disappointing, and turkey stitch looks complicated. I hope you can get your embroidery to look the way you want!

I was hoping to do another block for the Trip Around The World quilt, but got ambushed by a bunch of other things.

I did write 400 words to conclude a scene where the MC enters The Whole New World.

Sometimes plans get derailed, but writing is always a good thing. Got to write when the words are there!

We've been having a storm literally all year, but today my sinuses decided it was an issue. Before my headache got too bad to do anything else, I did manage to bake off some just in case the power goes out meals and some stitch and stream.

I watched more of Dear White People and Harley Quinn, but I only managed another 2 inches on the scarf before I had to go lay down for the rest of the day.
