Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

2023 hasn't got off to the best start for me, I'm still not well and had to see a doctor today. I now have antibiotics for a possible mild infection, just hope they knock this stupid fever on the head for good. I didn't get
much sleep last night because of it, and unsurprisingly I've had no energy today.


Once more no crafting, so I'm just going to sit and read, if my headache will let me, until it's time for my next dose, then go to bed.

No crafting today. I had kitchen duty, and it took longer than expected. After that I was just tired.

Working on a small cross stitch project that was a gift. Slow going because it's a plastic rather than cloth, but it's coming!

I haven't tried stitching on plastic canvas yet, I'll be interested to hear how you get on!

Mostly just did a bunch of chores, and then I was cold and achy so I played videogames in bed for a bit. The dog approved. :D

Going to work on the cardi for a little while now.

Today was a laid back day, mostly because I was just tired. But I did stitch and stream. I watched Adventures of Superman (1950s) and finished the last 6 episodes of Grace and Frankie. I just didn't feel up to any Batman movies today. And there was a new episode of We Baby Bears up.

The scarf is now just under 15 inches which means I can switch patterns soon, yay.

I spent most of the weekend sewing the burgundy coloured silk for the lining of the surcote and some reading prep for an upcoming talk about the bathhouse which is sort of a blend between a talk I've done already and the display itself. A long awaited interview on You tube went live today and while it left out bits I would have liked left in and left a lot of general chat in, it certainly could have been worse. The comments very very enthusiastic, so hopefully will get that blog post and link up. The guy interviewing me really is a bit of a twit though. *sighs heavily*

Still faffing around on the casket bands which are too black and need a top coat to tone them down so they look convincing.
