Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I have managed 40 rows on the first rainbow arm warmer, so I'm up to 80 rows. I'll either do 10 or 20 more rows, I haven't made up my mind yet.

They're short rows, only 47 stitches, so it's not all that much. 1880 stitches, lol!

ah, nearly there. Is this a bright primary colors or a pastel rainbow?

Very bright, but not exactly traditional rainbow colours. There isn't really a red, no green, the yellow is more yellow ochre, and there's turquoise, bright pink, purple, and orange, so... It's an interesting combination.

Finished the body of the first slipper today! Next I get to learn decreases 😬

Woohoo! Well done! Decreases are usually easier than increases, in my opinion at least, especially if it's just knitting two together.

I managed to finish the car page. All required elements are in place, the only thing I might or might not add is a teddy bear crossing the road. Tomorrow, if there's enough natural light for the mini, I'll try to take a photo.

That may take some time. It's so foggy right now that when I look out of the window, all I see is a grey wall of fog.

It went with surprising speed this time, mostly because I had a clear idea what I wanted to do. The last two pages might take longer. *g*

Alas, no photo just yet. We're currently surrounded by thick fog and have to turn on the lights even during the day. *grrrr*

I have had a couple skeins of a gray and white marled wool in my stash for ages. Earlier I got them out and thought about what I'd like to make - and after looking around I started my first arm warmer. Ha!!

Looking at a free pattern and following the general idea with edits for my larger size (I'm 5'10" and have big hands).

I've paused to scribble down my size edits so far! It's bitterly cold here.

(Mine are totally basic, single rib, with a gap left for the thumb when I sew up the seam, but they're quick and comfy which was what I wanted.)

These are in the round, though you go back and forth for few rows at the thumb to leave the gap. And crochet of course.

I'm almost done with the current motif I'm crocheting - just one more round. Once it's done there will be just six motifs left. It's dinner soon, and I'll be streaming after dinner but I should be able to finish this motif after streaming.
