Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I got all the gifts wrapped this morning, took them and the local cards out to deliver them. Five gifts, and four of the recipients weren't home. I have since managed to deliver all but one gift. Hopefully I'll catch my neighbour tomorrow.


After due consideration, I decided I would add another 10 rows to each of the fuchsia arm warmers. So they're done and cast off. Now I've started a rainbow pair with some of the multicoloured yarn I bought last week. I got two kinds, so I'll be making two pairs =D

I am pleased! I got it done and it's not even Christmas Eve yet!

Always! Just sometimes wish I had two pairs of hands as well...

I had a busy day again, but I did some crafting, too. The white stripes for the pedestrian crossing are now firmly sewn on, and so are the stop sign and the base for the traffic light - the latter of which will include six pieces of Velcro, eventually, but some things just can't be avoided.

Of course, I only realised the basic fault of the design while all this was already done: that the car will be on the other side of the pedestrian crossing - the only place it shouldn't be! Ah, well, it will serve as the example how things aren't supposed to be done, right?

ah, I have those feelings sometimes where you're just like, "welp, artistic expression, let's do it differently next time!"

I'm sure it will be fine. At two years old, the little boy won't be fussy about such things =)

No, I don't think so, either. I'm just annoyed by my own stupidity! Still, wrong or not, it does look great that way, so I'm invoking artistic licence...
